Emma is a science journalist. She holds a master’s degree from Boston University in Science and Medical Journalism as well as a Bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Lafayette College. She’ll write about anything that makes her stroke her imaginary beard and wipe her non-existent reading glasses, but her passions primarily lie in medicine and neuroscience.
She regularly contributes Smithsonian Magazine and MedShadow.org. Her work has also appeared in National Geographic, Kaiser Health News, The New York Times, Science Magazine, Discover, and The Scientist.
